Practicing this bronchial mudra (energetic seal or bond) is wonderful for strengthening the breath within the body. It can help with combating acute asthma attacks, dealing with seasonal allergies, and with strengthening the throat chakra (energy center for communication/listening).
Both hands: Place the little finger at the base of the thumb, the ring finger on the upper thumb joint, and the middle finger on the pad of the thumb. Extend the index finger. Sit upright and hold your hands about four inches away from your body. When your hands get tired, place the hands on your thighs.
